The strategy of the Municipality of Tunis as regards sport is based on the development of the sporting infrastructure, the installation and the development of municipal sports equipment, as well as the organization of certain sporting events.

  • Grand Prix of Tunis

    • Each year the circuit of the Point view “Belvédère” accommodates the Grand Prix of Tunis which gathers together the passionate of Historical cars.
    This demonstration is organized by the Municipality of Tunis in collaboration with the national office of tourism and the Automobile National Club of Tunisia.

  • The Municipality of Tunis, the equestrian center of animation Tunis view-point (CAETB) was born on March 20th, 2001.
    Located in full heart of the park of the view-point and covering a surface of two hectares, the center is equipped with an infrastructure including 15 boxings, 7 stalls, 8 beds, a club house, two saddleries, a barn and two careers equipped with steps and a lighting system making it possible to practice horsemanship in evening.
    Surrounded by a botanical reserve of  several hectares, this site makes it possible to practice a very pleasant horsemanship of outside.

    With an aim of putting the athletes and the young sportsmen able to involve them selves under the most suitable conditions, the town of Tunis provides sports complexes with the equipment necessary.
    The public swimming pool of El Gorjani
    The public swimming pool of El Gorjani
    Created in 1976, the public swimming pool of El Gorjani is a sporting installation located at the district Sidi El Béchir. It underwent renovation works in 2001, for total costs of 1,310,000 dinars.

    The development of the sporting infrastructure in all the districts constitutes one of the main objectives of the town hall of Tunis as regards to the equipment.
