Souk al "Kebabjia" or market of makers of kbaieb plural of "kubba" which is a skein or ball of thread of silk yarn, specialises in materials used for making trimmings of traditional garments. It runs parallel at Souk al-Birka and leads to Souk at-Trouk on one side and Souk as-Sakkajine on the other. This souk and others surrounding it were built in the same period as Souk at-Trouk by Youssef Dey in the 11th H/17th c. AD.
