Tourbat (familie's cemetery) Al Bey
This mausoleum was built by Ali Bey II (1758-1782) who was the first Husseini ruler to be buried there. With the exception of the first two Beys of the dynasty.

Address :  60, Street of Tourbat Al Bey

This mausoleum was built by Ali Bey II (1758-1782) who was the first Husseini ruler to be buried there. With the exception of the first two Beys of the dynasty: Hussein Ben Ali and Mohamed ar-Rachid who are buried in tourba of Sidi Kacem Sebabti located near Jemaâ Jedid, and the last two: Mohamed al-Moncef (buried in the Zallaj cemetery) and Mohamed Lamine I (buried in La Marsa cemetery), all other Beys, princes, princesses of the Husseini family as well as a few privileged ministers are buried in this mausoleum. This monument, considered as the largest mausoleum in Tunis, is an intricate network of rooms and courtyards containing the various tourba. The innermost room containing the tombs of the "Pashas" (rulers who sat on the throne) is the most luxurious. It is built on the pattern of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul. The exterior is built without coherence, all Mediterranean styles of the period being represented. After it was restored in 1992 the tourba was opened to the public. It has an annex called Tourba al-Fellari located at n° 62 of the same street.
