    This Zaouia, more known under the name of “Sebaâ R' goud” (7 door frames), was property of the family Al BOKRI (probable deformation of the name of origin “Al BEKRI”) of which Béchir Al Bokri 1st deceased in 1243/1827. She was regarded as richest Zaouia of Tunisia. The Al Bokri descent died out at the beginning of the 20th century after the death of the small son: Rich Béchir Al Bokri farmer and former militant of the first hour of Destour, deceased in 1360/1941. The mausoleum shelters, inter alia, the burial of the ten large Imams (preachers) of the large mosque az- Zitouna which, according to Mr. A. Ben Achour in “Categories of the Tunisoise Company…” (INAA, 1989), followed one another during almost two centuries, until 1231/1814 and among which the Sheik Taj - Al Arifine Al Bekri (Imam during 11th/17th century).
